After yet another horrendus performance by Welsh Phoenix's time trialing duo Gian Calliani and Aquilino Mourao, the duo have been issued an ultimatum. Significantly improve their performances in the next race, or face the sack.
The team has struggled ever since they reached division 5, scorin less than 40 points in the last 45 days. Team Manager Dave Washington commented: "I'm appalled, and i'm starting to think i hate time trials. We had great hopes for these two, but they've simply failed abysmally. Our lack of equipment doesn't help, but for Gian to finish 45th is unacceptable."

I don't know how hard starting over is, because i never started over. But I do know that scoring points once you get to higher divisions (like div 5,4,3) is very hard. It's not like it is in div 8 any more and if you can manage a top 9 then thats good.
I am guessing that statring over is harder now than when you first started. The level in the lower divs is constantly getting stronger. Throw in a bad run to top it off.
Have you got TT bars yet, they are the first thing on your list once you have 30k.
They both look like real good riders. I wouldn't sack either one just for having one or 2 bad races. Besides, don't feel bad, i had 2 bad seasons in a row with no wins and I felt like sacking the entire team. They will come around... Good luck, Mr Washington. :)
